Create a realistic looking illustration of the Valetri pump device in situ.

The figure was created from scans of real people. Several poses were combined to create this final pose. I really liked being able to create an illustration that was not the typical, static type of pose for a body. I don’t often get to be so organic in medical illustration.

I created the device parts from scratch based on a real device that the client sent me. These days I can usually get a CAD model that I will use as a base for the 3D model, but I went old-school with this and had to model everything by hand.
